OK, so its not all about percentages, clearly the ability has to there in the first place. Nevertheless if you have the pre-requisite mileage and experience [see later on this site] there is a lot we can do by way of enjoyable exam prepartion that will de-stress the experience for you, ensuring a comfortable pass - first time!

We can spend time together on your own vessel working through the required skills in preparation for the Yachtmaster exam. Or alternatively Tomcat Marine can provide a suitable yacht for both the preparation and of course, the exam.

We enjoy and excellent relationship with sailing schools with full RYA creditation, Southwest Yachting Ltd in Beaulieu, Flying Fish, in Cowes IOW and Sea Jay's of Lymington. All courses are offered all year round: Start Yachting, Competant Crew, Day Skipper, ICC (International Certificate of Competance), Coastal Skipper Completion and through to the Yachtmaster & Coastal Exam preparation course.

Clearly a local activity to where we are based, boats will not look out for themselves and we help reduce maintainance costs by keeping an eye on things whilst your away - mechanicals hate not to be working! Services can include periodic deck cleaning, sails & covers removal & valet, engine/generator running, interior housekeeping and minor fixes.
